Isn't having a string quartet just old fashioned?

Any music with violins in it must be very old!  So some people might be saying when in fact, just about everybody knows and already does like a few classical pieces, and perhaps without realising it.

It was written in 1680, so it's well over 300 years old, but it's passed one very big important test which is the passage of time.  This is why it still sounds fresh and relevant even today.
